Kangana Ranaut Starrer historical movie ‘Manikarnika’, based on the life of queen of Jhansi, Rani Lakshmi Bai, made it to Top 10 highest grossing movies of year 2019. With the overall box-office collection of Rs. 76.65 crores, the movie brags the 10th position on the list.
The list was released by Bollywood Hungama Movie Critic Taran Adarsh, on which Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh tops the list, followed by Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike and Salman Khan’s Bharat on second and third position respectively.
Manikarnika was released in January and was directed by Kangana Ranaut herself along with Telugu director Krish. The movie opened to good reviews and took an excellent opening for a female lead centric film.
